About me

I am a nurse currently registered to practice in several US states, including Florida, New York, and California, and, the Republic of Ireland.  I practiced for 8 years in critical care at large teaching hospitals in the areas of transplant, burn, trauma, and cardio-thoracic surgery.  Ten years ago I began my doctoral education journey, which I finally completed in May 2020 when I was awarded my Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Northern Colorado (Go Bears!).  My research interests are in conscious (explicit) and unconscious (implicit) attitude.  My current focus are these attitudes in nurses and nursing students toward sexual minorities.   I self-identify as a gay male.  I've been living in Paris, France for 10 years, yet, my French is still not very good! I enjoy traveling and look forward to sharing some of my past and future adventures.
